What VOX has that MP95 does not
VOX has one thing MP95 does not attempt: its own cloud. With Premium your library lives on VOX servers and syncs between iPhone and Mac, and SoundCloud and other streaming sources sit in the same list. If you want a hosted library, that is VOX's niche.
What MP95 has that it does not
Everything else, MP95 does, and without an account. Files come in every way an iPhone allows: import from the Music app library, add a folder in Files (iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, a NAS over SMB, a USB drive), AirDrop, or drop them in over a cable from a Mac. FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, AAC and MP3 all play, lossless bit-for-bit. The EQ and presets are free, not Premium. And then the part VOX has no answer to: six machines, a real-time tape and vinyl chain, 8D and slowed + reverb, visualizers, Room Light, home screen widgets with transport keys, an Apple Watch remote, and a native Mac app, all under one purchase.
