Varispeed, not a time-stretch
Slowing a tape drops its pitch, and that is exactly the slowed sound. MP95 runs the machine from half speed up, and the whole player follows: the reels turn slower, the cassette hubs slow, the meters breathe more slowly.
One switch
SLOWED on the sound desk sets the speed and the reverb together. Dial the speed yourself with the slider if you want it subtler or deeper, and store the result in a memory slot.
It stacks
Slowed and reverb with the cassette chain gives the classic tape-warped sound; with 8D it circles around you. All of it is live, so switch between them mid-track.
