The record is your album
Drop the needle and the platter spins up. The label carries the artwork of the album you are playing; the tonearm rides across the grooves as the track goes on and lifts at the end of the side. Drag the record with a finger to cue, and you hear the scrub as you would on a real deck.
Crackle, rumble, warmth
The vinyl preset adds surface crackle, a low rumble from the motor and a gentle roll-off at the top, all rendered by the native DSP chain in real time. The amounts are yours: turn the crackle and rumble knobs on the sound desk, or hit the analog switch to hear the file untouched.

Albums as objects
The library treats albums as physical media. Your records appear as sleeves on a shelf, cassettes as cassettes, and the turntable opens the library where the music you are playing came from. Searching on the album shelf finds every record an artist appears on.
A visualizer behind the deck

Frequently asked questions
Is the vinyl player free?
Yes. On iPhone, iPad and Mac the turntable and the cassette deck are the two free machines, with your whole library, the Hi-Fi path and offline playback. On Android every machine is free.
Does it play real records?
No. MP95 plays the music files on your iPhone, iPad or Mac and presents them on a turntable. It is a player for your digital collection, not a controller for hardware.
Can I turn off the crackle?
Yes. The crackle and rumble knobs go to zero, and the analog switch bypasses the whole chain.
