How to move music from a computer to Android without internet

1. Connect the phone; on the phone choose File transfer in the USB notification.
2. In File Explorer, open the phone and its Music folder.
3. Drag your album folders in.

2. USB cable (Mac)

macOS has no built-in Android file transfer. Use a free tool such as OpenMTP or Android File Transfer alternatives, then copy into Music. Some phones also appear in Finder when set to file transfer mode.

3. SD card or USB drive

Copy the music onto a microSD card or a USB-C stick on the computer, then insert it into the phone. In MP95, use Add music folder to include it.

Rare formats need one extra step

Android’s media index does not list DSD, APE, WavPack, TTA, Musepack or CAF files, so most players never see them. In MP95, tap Add music folder once and pick your Music folder or card; they appear with their tags and covers.

Then play

MP95 has no network permission, so nothing it plays goes anywhere. The library shows albums as sleeves, remembers where you stopped, and plays FLAC bit-perfect with a USB DAC on Android 14 and later.
